We are actively looking to hire a talented licensed mental health therapist within our Mount Sterling office, who is passionate about client care, experience and committed to clinical excellence.

Duties:

  • Assess clients through detailed conversations, interviews, assessments, screening, and observations to determine the appropriate testing or examination.

  • Diagnose the client’s mental and emotional disorders.

  • Create effective treatment plans that include counseling, medication, or other services.

  • Work with your clients and develop goals.

  • Regularly discuss the treatment plan with your client to identify faults or room for improvement.

  • Educate appropriate coping mechanisms to help clients through tough situations.

  • Document appropriately in EHR.

  • Work within a team unit.

  • Comply with the regulations and policies of the facility and appropriate Board.

  • Reports to Clinical Director.

  • Maintain licensing with appropriate Board.

  • Maintain CE’s as required by licensing Board.

  • Other responsibilities as determined by the Clinical Director.

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling.

  • Current license with appropriate governing board (LPCA, LPCC, LCSW).

  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.

  • Aptitude to empathize with clients and help them open up.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Proven experience in developing effective treatment plans.

  • Must reside within commutable distance of local clinic(s).

Pay: $26,880-$48,000+
